New details emerge from Rashee Rice’s alleged nightclub incident

Rice is being investigated by police after he was accused of hitting a photographer on Monday night at a club in Dallas, Texas. According to police documents that were obtained by TMZ, the alleged incident occurred at around 2 a.m. at “an after-hours party” at a hot spot called Lit Kitchen.

The photographer told police that he had left the nightclub but then returned after he received a message from Rice in which he indicated he wanted to hire the alleged victim. When the photographer got back to the club, he says Rice handed him a phone to look at something and that Rice then punched the man in the left side of the face.

The police report states that the photographer had “swelling on the jaws” and complained of pain. The man transported himself to a local hospital.

Rice has not been arrested or charged, but Dallas police say the incident remains under investigation.

Rice is dealing with all kinds of legal trouble. He was recently charged with eight felonies over his alleged role in a car crash that took place in March. Rice was allegedly racing another car down the freeway at a high rate of speed and lost control of his vehicle, causing a crash that resulted in multiple injuries (see the video here). Rice and several others fled the scene.

The 24-year-old is also facing multiple civil lawsuits related to the crash. The Chiefs are said to be bracing for a significant suspension for their wide receiver, and the punishment could be even more harsh if something comes of the nightclub investigation.
