A fan trailer for The Walking Dead Universe celebrates two upcoming spinoffs that will continue the franchise into 2024. Since the original series ended in November 2022, there have been multiple shows continuing the stories of major characters from the franchise. 2023 began this new era of the Walking Dead universe with the Maggie and Negan-led Dead City, while Daryl Dixon sent its titular protagonist to France.

Now, @TWDUPromos has released a fan-made trailer highlighting The Walking Dead spinoffs coming to AMC in 2024.

The trailer uses promotional footage from The Ones Who Live season 1 and Daryl Dixon season 2 in promoting the franchise’s future. It offers an exciting glimpse into how the zombie series will progress through the lenses of multiple shows.

2024 Will Expand The Walking Dead Universe

The first spinoff to arrive will be the upcoming The Ones Who Live, set for release on February 25, 2024. The show will feature the returns of Rick and Michonne, who haven’t been onscreen together since The Walking Dead season 9. It will also reveal more about the CRM, an antagonistic group that has held Rick captive for almost a decade in the series’ timeline. The show will feature Michonne trying to bring him home despite the insurmountable danger.

Premiering later in the year is Daryl Dixon season 2, which will be subtitled The Book of Carol because of her return to the franchise. It will follow Daryl’s continued adventures in France as Carol tries to bring him home, no doubt winding up overseas in the process. While there is no premiere date for the newest season just yet, it has been confirmed the series will return in 2024.

As the fan-made promotion highlights, The Walking Dead Universe will be going to new and exciting places in the next year. Since the franchise is continuing to expand, it’s possible even more spinoffs will be announced for 2024 as well. With familiar characters leading the series into a new era, there’s no telling what enthralling adventures await them as the zombie apocalypse continues.
