“Hopefully He Leаrned From Tһаt”: Evаnder Holyfield Remаins Brutаlly Honest on Tyson Fury’s Performаnсe Aɡаinst Frаnсis Nɡаnnou

A month ago, nobody in the combat world would have expected Francis Ngannou to make it past five rounds against Tyson Fury. However, ‘The Predator’ defied all expectations to school ‘The Gypsy King.’ So, nearly a month from that fateful night, Evander Holyfield ripped into the Brit for his lackluster performance against the former UFC Heavyweight champion.

While appearing in an interview with iFL TV, ‘The Real Deal’ Holyfield revealed his true thoughts about the fight. Back on October 30, the former Heavyweight champion got a first-hand account of the Fury vs. Ngannou fight. Given his expertise in the sport and presence during the fight, he is the perfect judge of Fury’s performance. So, the question remains – what did Holyfield think went wrong for Fury?

Evander Holyfield reveals what Tyson Fury did wrong

During the interview with iFL TV, the reporter questioned Holyfield about his thoughts on the Fury vs. Ngannou fight. In response, Holyfield acknowledged Fury’s awful performance and suggested Fury took the fight for granted. “It wasn’t well. Maybe I think he took it for granted,” said Holyfield. He went on to assert that it showed no one should take anything for granted.

That shows you in life if you take something for granted, it can backfire,” said Holyfield. What’s more, Holyfield thinks that’s what happened to Fury ahead of the fight against Francis Ngannou. However, ‘The Real Deal’ hoped that Fury had learned from his mistake. “I think it backfired on him, and hopefully he learned from that,” said Holyfield. Whether Fury learned from it or not, Mike Tyson thinks Fury will lose against Oleksandr Usyk.

Mike Tyson picks Oleksandr Usyk, but why?

Mike Tyson trained the guy who nearly defeated Tyson Fury! He was the biggest proponent of Ngannou’s firepower when no one believed in Ngannou. For most parts, Mike’s prediction came true. So, ‘Iron’ Mike’s latest prediction should really scare Fury. While appearing in an interview with Fight Hub TV, Mike picked Usyk as the victor.

He began by stating, “I look forward to that fight. That is going to be an interesting fight.” Turning to who he thinks will win in the upcoming fight, Mike showed preference for Usyk because he thinks ‘The Cat’ will overpower Fury. “I’m going towards Tyson Fury because I think he’s just going to overpower him,” said Mike.
