Feаr Tһe Wаlkinɡ Deаd Is Still Missinɡ 3 Mаin Cһаrасters (Witһ Only 4 Episodes Left)

Fear the Walking Dead is nearing its final conclusion, but the show still has plenty to wrap, like the whereabouts of these three missing characters.

Morgan in Fear the Walking Dead season 8 episode 4

This article contains spoilers for Fear the Walking Dead season 8.

Summary

  • Fear the Walking Dead must reveal what happened to Sarah, Wendell, and Mo in order to satisfy audiences and wrap up the show on a high note.
  • The vague answers about the missing characters’ fates are not enough to satisfy audiences’ curiosity and leave a sense of dissatisfaction.
  • While Mo is likely safe with Morgan and could potentially return in future spinoffs, Sarah and Wendell may have been killed by walkers or other apocalyptic causes, and their fates remain unclear.

Although Fear the Walking Dead is inching closer and closer to its series finale, there are still a few things that The Walking Dead spinoff needs to clear up, including what happened to three of the show’s characters who have been missing all season. Fear the Walking Dead is currently airing its eighth and final season on AMC, bringing the first ever The Walking Dead spinoff series to an end. So far, Fear the Walking Dead season 8 has had some intense revelations and shocks, but nothing yet on the fates of its missing characters.

As of now, Fear the Walking Dead has four episodes left. Although this seems like a suitable amount of time, in reality, that isn’t much space at all to wrap up the entirety of an 8-season show. While the season has certainly been entertaining and full of twists and turns, there are questions that absolutely need answering. Without these answers, there’s no doubt that the Fear the Walking Dead series finale will be at least a little bit disappointing. The series must balance its shocks with grounded answers in order to finish the show on a high note.

Sarah, Wendell & Mo Are All Still Missing In Fear The Walking Dead’s Final Season

Namely, Fear the Walking Dead must reveal what happened to Sarah, Wendell, and Mo. All three of these characters have been absent from Fear the Walking Dead season 8, part 2, and without any clear answers about what truly happened to them, the series finale will feel unsatisfying. When it comes to Mo, the show explained where she went, but one final glimpse would be ideal. At the end of Fear the Walking Dead’s “All I See Is Red,” Morgan leaves a radio transmission for Rick, letting him know that he’s heading to Alexandria to find him. He takes Mo with him, and the two aren’t heard from again.

Fear the Walking Dead should definitely give a peek into Morgan and Mo’s progress before the series ends, but more importantly, the series needs to reveal the fates of Sarah and Wendell. The brother and sister duo were part of Morgan’s group, which fell victim to PADRE and other apocalyptic causes. The show left audiences hanging on what exactly happened to them, but recently, Strand mentioned to Madison that while some of Morgan’s group were living in Georgia, others had perished. Overall, these vague answers are not quite enough to satisfy audiences as to what happened to these characters.

What Might Have Happened To Fear The Walking Dead’s Missing Characters

For now, all audiences can do is theorize as to what happened to these missing characters. In terms of Mo, she is likely safe alongside Morgan, and there is a good chance that she could return to The Walking Dead franchise in the Rick and Michonne spinoff. On the other hand, Sarah and Wendell won’t be so lucky. It seems likely that the pair were killed by walkers or by other means due to PADRE. There is a chance that they are part of the Georgia colony that Strand mentioned, but it is unclear. Without a straight answer before the Fear the Walking Dead finale, audiences may never know.
