Juventus posted a picture of the boxing legend donning the club’s iconic black and white jersey on the club’s social media, garnering reactions from fans. The image carried the caption which read that the club’s training would get a whole lot tougher, with Tyson now in it.

The American boxer is currently in Turin filming the action movie “Bunny Man,” co-produced by Italians Andrea Iervolino and Enrico Remmert. The film features a rich superhero seeking vengeance for his sister’s suicide. The former heavyweight champion stopped at the Juventus headquarters while in Turin, when he sported the football shirt.

This isn’t the first instance of Tyson wearing a football jersey, as he has been seen in jerseys from various clubs including Argentina, England, Brazil, Scotland, Rangers, Manchester United, Wolverhampton, and Benfica at numerous events. Back in 2010, the American was paraded around the London Road pitch wearing a Peterborough shirt, ahead of their pre-season friendlies.

Tyson, who is an avid football fan, had also commented on a Copa del Rey match between arch-rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona in 2013. He specifically remarked on Cristiano Ronaldo’s second goal for Madrid during that match.

Mike Tyson once claimed that football is the most dangerous sport, above boxing or MMA

Former American heavyweight champion Mike Tyson once deemed football as the most dangerous sport globally, surpassing boxing and mixed martial arts. His unexpected selection raised eyebrows worldwide as he provided his reasoning for favoring the widely popular sport of football.

Tyson stated that it was true that boxing and football were two completely different sports and the athletes suffered different injuries. However, he noted that there were more severe injuries in football compared to boxing.

This is because so many of the players often suffered from leg injuries, shoulder injuries, head injuries, and many more. He also added that it was not deniable that boxing too had its own flaws but comparatively, it had less number of targeted injuries.
