Philadelphia Eagles running back Kenny Gainwell is getting roasted by fans for a video posted by the social media team that showed him losing to safety Sydney Brown in a “friendly” workout competition.
The two had to hold a deadlift in place and whoever dropped theirs first was the loser.
They both put up a tough fight for over two minutes, but Gainwell’s hat fell off and he lost focus from there, eventually dropping his weight.

The reason fans are heckling Gainwell is because Brown is coming off of ACL surgery.
“BEAT BY A GUY WITH A TORN ACL GET RID OF HIM LMAOOO,” a fan wrote.
They’re also wondering if the Eagles posted this video on purpose to punish Gainwell for brutally opening up about last year’s “communication” problems in a recent interview.
“Eagles coaches saw that Kenny G interview about disconnect last year and told admin to post vid of him losing to a dude with a torn ACL,” another fan said.
It’s the offseason, so any content the Eagles social team posts is going to get a lot of attention.
If you look closely, you will notice that there’s more than just the competition going on.
Brown looks to be ahead of schedule with his ACL recovery. Gainwell is yoked. Newly signed offensive lineman Mekhi Becton makes the Eagles’ biggest players look normal. Jalen Carter looks leaner. Jordan Davis is still massive. Cam Jurgens looks like he’s built for playing center. Jalen Hurts is there.
But most importantly, this team that was missing the chemistry that they needed last year is building it early.
