Star Trek: Strange New Worlds‘ Christina Chong just dropped a naughty “anti-Christmas” song that’s definitely Not Safe For Work. As Strange New Worlds season 2 was streaming on Paramount+ earlier this year, Chong timed the release of her debut EP, “Twin Flames,” to coincide with her adventures aboard the USS Enterprise as Lieutenant La’an Noonien-Singh. During the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, Christina continued to make music and promote her exciting career as a recording artist.
Now available on Apple Music, Spotify, and wherever you stream your music, Christina Chong’s cheeky new track, “Fck U 4 Xmas” is perfect to chase away the holiday blues. Christina also has exclusive “Fck U 4 Xmas” merch available. Check out “Fck U 4 Xmas” and see Christina’s post teasing her upcoming, Santa-themed music video below:
Christina Chong spoke exclusively to Screen Rant about what inspired her to write and record “Fck U 4 Xmas.” Check out what Christina had to say below:
What made me want to write the FCK U 4 XMAS song was a little experience that I pulled upon in my personal life. I won’t divulge too much. But it inspired a song that was written in one hour with Will Matthew, a friend of mine. And it was meant to be for fun. It was just like an exaggeration on an experience I’d had. And we just thought, “Should we just put it on Instagram?” And the reaction was so positive and great, and it was such a fun song to sing. I was like, “Hmm. I knew I wanted to do a Christmas song this year.” And it came to me in meditation that, actually, FCK U 4 XMAS is the perfect anti-Christmas song. All we needed to do was change a few lyrics. So that’s exactly what we did.
We went back into the studio with Will and also Chesney Hawkes, who you will know from his huge hit, “The One and Only.” So Chesney helped us, and my manager James [Giddings] helped us put together the final version, which is very Christmassy, and it’s just a lot of fun. And I can’t wait for people to hear it. There’s also a clean version, so you can play it at Christmas dinner and in front of the kids!
The clean version of the song, “Forget U 4 Xmas” is here:

Christina Chong Will Return As La’an In Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3
Will La’an sing again on Strange New Worlds?
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3 is reportedly resuming production to continue into June 2024, and Christina Chong will be back as La’an Noonien-Singh, who was kidnapped by the Gorn along with members of the USS Enterprise crew in Strange New Worlds season 2’s finale cliffhanger. Screen Rant asked Christina if La’an would sing “Fck U 4 Xmas” if there is another Strange New Worlds musical episode, and she replied:
Ab-so-flippin’-lutely. Yes, she would.
No doubt, Christina will continue pursuing her new career of recording music while she explores the final frontier as La’an aboard the Starship Enterprise. “Fck U 4 Christmas” and Christina Chong’s other songs from her EP, “Twin Flames,” are all out now, and you can follow Christina on her musical journey on her Twitter/X and Instagram @christinachongx while we await the new episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3.
