Paul “PK” Kemsley was spotted filming for the upcoming 14th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Thursday at The Henry in West Hollywood, California — just as he and his wife, Dorit Kemsley, confirmed their separation with a joint statement on Instagram.
In a video taken at the restaurant, PK, 56, was questioned about his split and how he was holding up amid his and Dorit’s marital drama as cameras rolled on the new episodes.
“Sorry, I’m working,” PK told TMZ as several people were seen surrounding him with cameras.
According to the report, PK was at The Henry to meet Mauricio Umansky, 53, who separated from his wife, Kyle Richards, 55, last year.
Although the men have been close friends for years, it was noted that PK appeared “frazzled” during the outing. And after he sat and spoke with Mauricio for some time, he ultimately became frustrated and stormed away.
TMZ went on to say that Dorit and PK’s split would be a center storyline of RHOBH season 14, which began filming on Wednesday.
In their joint statement on Thursday, Dorit and PK, who wed in 2015, wrote, “We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together. To [safeguard] our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.”
Dorit and PK share two children, including son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8. And while they will be spending time away from each other in the coming weeks and months, a second report confirmed they are not yet considering divorce.
“[They are] definitely not talking about divorce,” a source told Radar Online on May 9. They are “taking time and space” to work on their relationship and are “committed to keeping things peaceful and harmonious” for the sake of Jagger and Phoenix.
As the insider stated, Dorit and PK believe having space between them will help them stay “in that healthy place” where they can “prioritize the kids.”
They’re “hoping this time apart will be the best thing in the end,” the source added.
As for rumors of the couple living separately, with PK residing in a hotel in Beverly Hills, Radar Online’s insider stated that the two of them were living together as recently as last week and noted that a reconciliation is possible.
Adding to that hope is the fact that PK and Dorit have already been spotted together post-split.
In a photo shared by Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram on Thursday, the newly separated couple was seen enjoying a meal together in Beverly Hills.
No word yet on when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 will premiere.
