Commodore Geordi La Forge’s (LeVar Burton) office in Star Trek: Picard season 3 was filled with Easter eggs, and some are shown off in a behind-the-scenes video shared by production designer Dave Blass. In Picard season 3, Geordi returned as the curator of the Fleet Museum on Athan Prime, where he watches over several of the most legendary starships in Star Trek history. Commodore La Forge is reluctantly pulled back into action by Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and Geordi saves the galaxy from the Borg one more time alongside the reunited crew of the USS Enterprise-D.
On Twitter/X, Star Trek: Picard production designer Dave Blass shared a video “flashback” from 2022 of LeVar Burton delighted by all of the swag in Commodore Geordi La Forge’s office. Burton especially loved the statue of Zephram Cochrane (James Cromwell) from Star Trek: First Contact, and he even kissed Blass, which is a memory Dave treasures. Check out the video below:

Commodore Geordi La Forge Is One Of Star Trek: Picard Season 3’s True Heroes
Picard couldn’t have saved the galaxy without Geordi.
It’s safe to say Admiral Jean-Luc Picard and the Star Trek: The Next Generation crew’s ultimate triumph in Star Trek: Picard season 3 couldn’t have happened without Commodore Geordi La Forge. Geordi saved the day more than once; by emotionally reaffirming their eternal friendship, La Forge helped Data (Brent Spiner) gain dominance over Lore to assert control over their shared synthetic body. But most crucially, Geordi saw the folly in Starfleet implementing Fleet Formation, and he restored the USS Enterprise-D so that it didn’t share the network that the Borg corrupted and used to assimilate the fleet.
Geordi recovered the USS Enterprise-D’s saucer section from Veridian III and he rebuilt the Galaxy Class starship in the Fleet Museum’s hangar bay 12.
Commodore La Forge also commanded the USS Enterprise-D from the Captain’s chair and took on the Borg Cube hiding in Jupiter, successfully leading a rescue mission to save his friends and wipe out the cybernetic villains once and for all. Of course, the La Forge family played crucial roles in Star Trek: Picard season 3 as well. Geordi’s eldest daughter, Ensign Sidney La Forge (Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut), valiantly piloted the USS Titan-A, and his youngest daughter, Ensign Alandra La Forge (Mica Burton), was by Geordi’s side throughout myriad crises. Star Trek: Picard season 3 was one of Commodore Geordi La Forge’s finest hours, and he deserved his happy ending of enshrining his beloved USS Enterprise-D in the Fleet Museum on Athan Prime.
