Abrams’ Bad Robot and the Star Trek on Paramount+ series and films produced by Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout, making it unlikely a new theatrical Star Trek movie would be based on Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Discovery, or any of the TV shows.
Paramount+’s Star Trek: Section 31, the first made-for-streaming Star Trek movie starring Academy Award-winner Michelle Yeoh, is going into production in 2024.
