In the wake of meeting Mike Tyson in Riyadh, Amir Khan took to Instagram, and in a viral bizarre clip, rubbed the former’s hands. Although ‘King Khan’ had the time of his life with ‘Kid Dynamite’, several fans found their interaction awkward. However, in his latest interaction with the media, Amir revealed how Tyson treated him and what the entire interaction meant to the 36-year-old.
“You got a legend in Mike Tyson. And the people he knocked out. The hardest puncher in boxing. When I saw his hands, I was mesmerized by it. He has the hands of a champion, you know what I mean? I’m a fan,” said Amir Khan. Along these lines, Khan explained how lucky he was too. “He let me hold his hand and feel his hand. Think of it, Mike Tyson not gonna let many people do that. But, Mike was so cool with me,” he added.
“Then like McGregor was there, Pacquiao, we had a good crowd. Even a legend like Roy Jones Jr. was there. We had a really good chat with everyone,” Khan concluded. In this context, on being asked if Khan would like to box Conor McGregor, he revealed he was more interested in ‘Pac-Man’ and Floyd Mayweather.

Last year Amir Khan hung his gloves after he lost to Kell Brook. However, since retired boxers are returning to the ring for exhibitions, Khan was asked if he would fight ‘The Notorious.’ But, according to ‘King Khan’, McGregor is “too big” for him. Likewise, he feels it is better if he boxes a former boxer in the ring. In this context, he said, “If I were to do a fight, I’d rather fight with a former boxer. Maybe Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather.”
