In the spinoff, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) seeks Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) to help her rescue her son, Hershel Jr. (Logan Kim) who was captured by The Croat (Željko Ivanek), an old associate of Negan’s from his Sanctuary days. What Maggie didn’t expect was for Negan to have a young girl named Ginny (Mahina Anne Marie Napoleon) under his care.

What she also didn’t expect was how difficult navigating a walker infested New York City was going to be. Between walkers falling from the sky and literally morphing their decaying bodies into one walker monster, this will be unlike anything she experienced on TWD.

Although Negan practically agrees to help her without thinking twice, he has his own problems as well. Aside from assuring Ginny’s safety and separation with this rescue mission, he’s a wanted man.

Enter not one but two villains for the season: The Croat and Perlie Armstrong (Gaius Charles) of New Babylon. He’ll resort to anything to bring Negan to justice for the murder of a New Babylon Marshal.
